My snow day was one of the best days in a long time. I mean normally, if there is no school, you'd find me sleeping 'till noon. Yesterday, I found myself wide awake at 7:30am with someone else in my car. Both of us were like, omg, we have no school. This is amazing. What do we do? Seeing that it was his 17th birthday, I suggested a birthday breakfast at Perkins. We ate some grubb and as we were finishing up, about 50% of SLPHS showed up. Good timing? Just adding to my good day. Then were ran some errands, thinking what we were actually going to do with this amazing day off. Then we were off to Ridgedale cuz he wanted new shoes. I wasn't aware that it opened at 10am. We got there at 9:45 and just walked around. I was pleasantly suprised to find that Jamba finally opened (yesterday was actually it's first day) and they were giving away free Jamba's for the 1st hr. Then we went in to Payless and I found a pair of shoes that I love. And they were cheap! Then Steve got a pair of Orange high tops. They were cool. Then I took him home as he wanted to hang out with other ppl on his birthday. No hard feelings. Went home and cleaned my long-overdue room. Took a nap. Went to the Doc. Watched some TV. Went to dinner with my family to give support to all of them in our time of much-needed family support. Then hung out with Joel. What a good day. We should have no power more often!
BTW: To Mac and Alison and whoever else feels this way: Why don't you approve? Don't leave me in the dark with your feelings towards this fucked-up situation.
